Hello and welcome to 2017 here at SEO Moves. We’ve had an incredibly busy year over the last 12 months, with our clients seeing fantastic results from their SEO campaigns. After a nice restful christmas break, we are back and ready to hit the coming year with a bang and see what lies in store for us!
Over the last couple of weeks, there have been some interesting changes on the SEO front. Google have announced through one of their frequent ‘hangouts’ that slow loading web pages may not be considered mobile friendly. This is interesting, because normally, Google only measure the page speed of desktop sites rather than the mobile sites. This might not seem like much of a problem, as many people have specific mobile versions of their desktop websites, ready for people to view through their mobile devices. The problem is that Google are now beginning to take the desktop speed as an indicator of “mobile friendliness”, so if your site is slow to load, you might want to make it a New Year’s resolution to get it speeded up! If you haven’t got a mobile version of your site, or are interested in finding out more about responsive web design and development, now is definitely the time to do so.
Our web design team here at SEO moves will be glad to help you in this, with many sites only needed minor tweaking to get them running at optimal speed again. Why not contact our office or get onto the Live Chat facility at the bottom of this page to get started?
