Google Search Ads Finally Have A Purchase Feature

As Google has tightened its grip on the search engine markets, it’s always found new ways to innovate and make its search engine the de facto choice for the majority. Their latest addition has been a creation of the much-needed “buy button” that has always been lacking from Google. Running under the moniker Purchases on Google, this new “button” will be appearing on specific smartphones and, at the moment, is only included within some very specific businesses and retailers across the search engine. When you click on the button, you will be re-directed to a fresh payment cart page that allows you to make the purchase using various payment methods and then put through Google instead of the vendor themselves. Then, once verified, Google pass on the information to the vendor. This change, then, hasn’t quite been the earthquake that many were expecting it to be – it’s still early days for PoG, though, and this could really improve in the near future.
The latest addition to this feature, though, is the fact that you’ll start to have a lot more fun with the voice search feature. This now allows you to show the new ad style as well as rankings and ratings to help correlate the item and what people think all in the one place. Now, you’ll be able to get a little mini report card bout what it is you were searching for to help you get something a bit more detailed without having to go and look for all the reviews yourself. Additionally, this will allow you to see more information such as the nearest place to you that has it available. Cards in Store Another nice new feature has been the introduction of the in-store cards that so many people are benefiting from using. This means that when you walk by certain stores and retailers you will be given a little Google Now notification about that business to show you everything from closing time to loyalty card details. You’ll also find a price drop system has been included to let you know when large price decreases on items you already looked at occur. “Deep Linking” Another big change her is the introduction of what is known as deep linking. This is being provided by Google to hotshot names like Zalando and even eBay, allowing them to measure conversion rates and show advertisements across the web and across applications. These changes are all relatively simple, and no quite as revolutionary as planned, but they certainly do make a nice change to the consumer face of Google. For those with money to burn, this could be fantastic!
